Our freestanding frame includes barres on both sides which are independently adjustable to approximately 31-45 inches in height. A cross brace on the frame makes these ballet barres stable and rigid.

The barres disassemble without tools in about a minute and can be transported in a small car.

The barres are made with poplar wood and are hand-sanded smooth and ready to use – you won’t have to add a clear coat finish.  As the wood barre is used, the natural oils from hands give the barres a classic hand-rubbed look. However, if you prefer a painted surface, the wood is ready to be painted.

Our ballet barres come in 4 foot, 6 foot, 8 foot, and 10 foot lengths.  Custom ballet barre lengths may be ordered by calling 1-800-331-4362.

How do I clean my ballet barres?
Traditional ballet barres are sanded smooth raw wood, which allow oil from the hands to be absorbed into the wood eventually forming a patina. However, sanitary wipes may be used to clean the surface.
