Purpose: This is great practice for the back handspring on the balance beam. By using the Sectional Balance Beam on the floor, you encourage correct hand placement as well as a stretching out of the skill. By having the Sectional Balance Beam on the floor, you take away some of the initial fears that go along with this skill.
