Purpose: Learning to "go over the top" in a cartwheel can be difficult for some. The fear of falling over and getting hurt is big for some. Put a little fun in the process. Set up an alley with soft items on the edge in order to help the athlete "go over the top". If they hit the Octagon or Incline, it is soft and safe. This will not only encourage straight cartwheels, it will promote self confidence and independent learning.

Set up: Octagon or other soft developmental shape and an Incline placed against a wall.
