Pike Press to Handstand

Purpose: The pike press handstand is a basic skill that transfers to many different applications in gymnastics. The importance of teaching the shoulder lean, body compression, and core control all are developed through the pike press handstand. Using a lever advantage such as the Booster Blocks will help the athlete succeed faster.
