Meet Carrie Spender, Tumbl Trak Education Coordinator

Carrie has enjoyed various roles in education for over 30 years. A certified physical education teacher and gymnastics coach with experience managing youth sport programs, Carrie has presented at state, regional and national level conferences on various recreational and preschool topics. Carrie loves learning as much as she loves teaching!

Meet Maribeth Johnson, Tumbl Trak Integrated Sales Specialist

Maribeth is a certified teacher in both Early Childhood and Special Education in addition to a Master's in Educational Leadership. Her career in teaching began in the role of Intensive Social and Communication while her passions for inspiring children and physical fitness also drew her toward coaching Special Olympics in basketball, soccer, and swimming. She has dedicated her career to helping children and adults reach their goals to feel successful and proud.

Our Special Needs Ambassadors

Gene Hurwin MA, OTR/L
In 1999, Occupational Therapist Gene Hurwin combined his knowledge of pediatric development and 20 years of coaching expertise to create BIG FUN. Gymnastics was the unique tool Gene used to reach out to the special needs community, whose enthusiastic response led him to dedicate himself to expanding BIG FUN into a nationally recognized organization. Tumbl Trak found Gene’s unique program and enlisted him as an Ambassador for product development and curriculum content.

Sheri Ireland-Berk, PT
Sheri has been a pediatric physical therapist for more than 30 years and became a Tumbl Trak Ambassador in 2019. She has certifications and extensive training and experience with Dynamic Serial Casting, NDT, Intensive Therapy, Gait analysis and training, Orthotic management, Aquatic Therapy, Brachial Plexus and CMT, Infant Massage, and Kinesiotaping. Sheri is extremely passionate about empowering children of all ages and abilities.

Karissa Johnson
Karissa has been teaching in the gymnastics and education industry for more than 20+ years, holds a B.S. in Psychology, and has worked as an ABA Therapist since 2008. Author, creator, and developer of SpectraAbilities and LEAP-Learning, an industry-leading educational platform, Karissa uses a variety of Tumbl Trak equipment in her work with individuals living with developmental & intellectual disabilities. Her work as a Tumbl Trak Ambassador includes public speaking, product development and trade show support.

Kristin McNally, MSR, OTR/L, IMH-E® (III)
Kristin practices as a pediatric occupational therapist, specializing in sensory integration and the DIR® Model, or Floortime. Kristin is an assistant faculty member of the Profectum Foundation, where she provides training and mentoring. She specializes in treating children with developmental delays and disorders of relating and engaging. Kristin has used Tumbl Trak equipment since 2014 and as and Ambassador paved the way for others to recognize the value in using soft, forgiving, playful equipment.
