The Tumbl Trak Rod Floor is a trusted training surface for athletes of all levels—stiff enough to support powerful tumbling from older athletes, yet forgiving enough to help protect younger or smaller gymnasts during skill development.

Our full-size competition model measures 84-ft in length (21 sections total), with each section measuring 6-ft wide by 4-ft long. The Rod Floor system features tubular fiberglass rods that provide responsive spring while maintaining critical impact absorption for athlete safety.

What sets the Tumbl Trak Rod Floor apart?

  • Secure Frame Connections – Each frame section bolts together for added stability, helping to eliminate shifting during use.
  • Secure Velcro Connections – We've integrated Velcro along the underside of the frame to secure the Carpet Bonded Foam cover. When used with a Velcro wrap strip, this creates a snug, slip-resistant surface—improving both safety and performance.

Recommended Padding System:
For optimal performance, we recommend using a layer of 1-3/8 in Carpet Bonded Foam over 1.875-in to 2-in (50mm) polyethylene foam with scrim. The scrim layer should face down against the rods to protect your foam and extend its life.
