  1. The heavy duty cross bars of the 5-in-1 Bar are what make this Jr. Training Bar so stable. They are about 2in thick, so make sure you have appropriate matting underneath. We recommend no less than a 6in mat. Another option is to purchase a Home Flexi Mat which can be cut in two and placed on each side of the cross bar making a flush surface. With this setup, a 4in thick mat underneath should work well.
  2. Be sure you have a safe ceiling height when using any Jr. Training Bar. We recommend an 8ft high ceiling for all drills, except swinging skills which should have a taller ceiling height.
What size mat is recommended for the 5-in-1 Bar System?

Recommended matting is 8'' thick and 4' wide. The 4'x8'x8'' Practice Mat or the Power Launch would be adequate matting.

What ceiling height do you recommend?

The ideal ceiling height is 10ft for more difficult skills or skills done above the bar. However, an 8ft ceiling is sufficient for skills done below the bar.

What is the maximum distance between the bars?

When the Bars are placed on the furthest points of the legs, the bars are 5.5' apart.

How do I clean the wood bar?

We recommend lightly scrubbing the bar with a wire brush to remove any visible buildup of chalk or dirt then wipe with mineral oil on a microfiber cloth to clean the bar.
