WARM UP & ACTIVITIES

Handstand up to Elevated Height

Purpose: Encouraging beginner athletes to develop a strong kick is a useful habit to develop. Use an elevated height such as a Booster Block to help the athlete understand the strength and drive needed to reach a full handstand.  Add bean bags by the ears to remind the athlete to keep their arms up and squeezed.
