Side Handstand Body Shaping Drill

Purpose: Many beginners working side handstands on beam tend to reach straight down, stick their head out, and kick their legs around the side preventing their feet from traveling over their head. This drill will help target those natural tendencies and prevent those common mistakes.  Use a wedge against the wall with a Fun Stick attached at the top to help encourage the athlete to kick overhead and shape their handstand to be positioned over their body.

Set up: Folding Incline, Addie Beam, Rebound Mat, Fun Stick
